Baker Nunn

The Baker Nunn name originated from different areas of expertise:
The Optical design by Dr. James Baker, Consultant to Perkin Elmer, Connecticut. Dr. Baker’s obituary on the American Astronomical Society webpage includes his involvement in the optical design for the Baker Nunn Satellite Tracking Cameras.
The Mechanical design by Joseph Nunn of South Pasadena.
Perkin Elmer, Norwalk, Connecticut,  did the optics grinding, polishing, and figure testing.
Boller and Chivens manufactured, assembled, and did acceptances testing.
