aligning assembly in place. The 121 collimators, each projecting a cross-hair
at known angles +/- 2.0 arc second absolute, and was stable to +/- 1.0 arc second.

    How well I remember this job at Hill AFB near Ogden, Utah.
    It was the most challenging, most demanding alignment task of my entire 30 year career in optics.
